XtraTime WebDesk: Mumbai Indians Director of Cricket Operations Zaheer Khan had a ten hours sleep after bowling in the nets ahead of the game against Delhi Capitals at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground.
Zaheer Khan steaming in to bowl, one of the most inspiring sights in Indian cricket for one and a half decades since the left arm seamer’s international debut in 2000, is a sight which can now sometimes be seen in the Mumbai Indian training camp. He was seen rolling back the years with the same perfect bowling action in a video tweeted by Mumbai Indians on Thursday.
Zaheer was very comfortable with his run ups but, he was so tired he had to sleep for long hours. Zaheer said during the interview. The Fourty-year-old said, “There were not enough net bowlers to bowl. So I tried to help the batsmen to get better preparation ahead of the match but after that I was so tired that I had to sleep ten hours.”
