IPL 2019: This Proteas cricketer continues to light up the league

Xtra Time Web Desk:
Chennai Super Kings wily leg spinner Imran Tahir is continuing to light up the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2019). The veteran Proteas spinner once again put up a brilliant effort with the ball to help CSK register a comprehensive 80 runs win over Delhi Capitals at Chepauk on Wednesday.

Tahir took his wickets tally to 21 for the season with an incredible 4-12 that skittled the Delhi Capitals for 99 runs. This was also his best outing in the cash rich league till date. He took 18 wickets for Rising Pune Supergiants during the 2017 edition of IPL. The veteran leg spinner did go for some runs as his economy rate suggests (7.87) but at the same time he has managed to put brakes on the opposition batsmen.

Tahir kicked things off by removing the dangerous Rishabh Pant with his second delivery, which kick-started the Delhi Capitals’ top-order collapse. He added another two victims to his hit list in his second over, his famous google doing the trick to remove both Patel and the dangerous Sherfane Rutherford. Tahir finished off the Capitals with the wicket of Amit Mishra as he picked up his 21st wicket of the campaign and helped claim an 80-run win for his side. Tahir’s sprint after picking up a wicket has been a common sight in this edition of the cash rich league.
