IPL 2019: Rohit Sharma revealed the reason behind their loss against Rajasthan Royals

XtraTime Web Desk: Mumbai Indians made a mistake as they didn’t include Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga in their squad against Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The home team lost by four wickets against the Royals. Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma also missed the service of Malinga specially in the death overs.
He said, “We failed to take early wickets and on a track like Wankhede, it always becomes tough. It’s a good headache to have such players in the squad. Lasith has been a match-winner for us, Alzarri has bowled well, it wasn’t just his day.”
He also gave credit to Rajasthan Royals as he said, “I think credit goes to RR, they played well. Put us under pressure with the bat, Jos played an exceptional knock. We tried everything, but things didn’t work out well.”
Rohit praised Jos Buttler for his match wining knock of 89 in 43 balls. “Buttler played him well and even the yorkers were converted into runs, one of those days where things didn’t go well as planned.” Rohit added.
