IPL 2019: Manoj Tiwary deprived again, angry tweets spark controversies

Kolkata: Bengal captain Manoj Tiwary took Twitter as the platform on Tuesday and hits out his frutration after going unsold at the IPL Auction. The right-handed batsman shared photos of his past records and trophies and questioned what he did wrong to not be considered for selection by any franchise. Manoj performed exceptionally well for Rising Pune Supergiants in whatever chances he got in the IPL, but got deprived again by Kings XI Punjab in the last season. He performed exceptionally well for Bengal in the Vijay Hazare Trophy as well, but still got deprived from the national team or from the India A team.

In a tweet, Tiwary wrote, “Wondering wat (what-sic) went wrong on my part after getting Man of a match award wen (when-sic) I scored a hundred 4 (for-sic) my country and got dropped for the next 14 games on a (the-sic) trot ?? Looking at d (the-sic) awards which I received during 2017 IPL season, wondering wat (what-sic) went wrong???”

Manoj also wrote, “Really appreciated the fact that U al have shown so much love nd care through ur replies to my last tweet. Still I cannot digest that fact that I won’t be part of IPL 2019 this coming season but I know that’s the reality in which I have to live now and move on from hereand keep focusing on the things which I can control”.

The people close to Manoj also raised questions about the moves and intentions of national selector Devang Gandhi as well. Though Devang seemed to be less bothered about the impeachments, as he told www.xtratime.in , “I don’t know what is the connection of not getting chance to play for India and not getting chance to play for IPL. He can say whatever he wants, I have nothing to say.”
