Xtra Time Web Desk: Chennai Super Kings all rounder Dwayne Bravo is in awe with MS Dhoni. For the Trinidadian, the more he watches Dhoni, the more respect he has for the CSK captain.
“Whenever your teammate is doing well and also the team is led by the best in the world. He (Dhoni) is one of the most humble cricketers on the planet. Anything he does attract everyone,” said Bravo at the start of the top of the table clash between Chennai and Kolkata.
It has been a common sight for the last few years, every time there is an IPL match involving CSK, there is a sea of yellow in the stands.
Talking about the crowd support, Bravo said, “The people here in Chennai are very passionate about the game, about the sport and about Chennai Super Kings. Every time we play here it’s a full house. Even before the IPL started, for the practice sessions one of the stands was always full. It’s good to have such support from the fans.”
He added, “Even when we play at different stadiums, Wankhede or Hyderabad there is a lot of yellow in the stands. Again it shows the support he (Dhoni) has an individual, the fan base he have. As a team we always wanted to do well for the franchise, for the city and for our fans.”
