IPL 2018: Star Indian players revealed their base price for the auction

Internet Desk: Auctions for the players of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 is just around the corner, speculations going on about which player will wear which franchise shirts. The return of the banned teams like Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals has already created a craze among the fans already. Indian capped veteran players already fixed their base price between Rs.50 Lakhs to Rs.2 Cr.

According to media reports Yusuf Pathan, who had to face a ban for failing a dope test will be available for the IPL 2018 auction at Rs 75 Lakhs.

His brother Irfan Pathan kept his base price at Rs. 50 Lakhs. Though he was unsold in the last edition of IPL but, later he got the chance to wear Gujrat Lions shirts after Shivil Kaushik ruled out for his bad performance.

Another Indian legendary spinner Harbhajan Singh fixed his base price at Rs. 2 Crore. He played for Mumbai Indians for last ten years but got released from the side. He was also the third highest wicket-taker in IPL history.

Players like Gautam Gambhir also announced his base price at Rs. 2 Crore as he was released from his side Kolkata Knight Riders after winning 2 IPL titles as captain of the side. Chennai Super Kings, the team who will compete for the titles after two years banning might bought Gambhir.

However, another Indian cricketing legend Yuvraj Singh and another Indian capped spinner Yuzvendra Chahal yet to set his base price. Star Caribbean players with the likes of Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard and former Kiwi skipper Brendon McCullum are yet to be confirmed.
