IPL 2018: KKR vs RR | The 4 deciding battles of the game

Kolkata: Two-time Indian Premier League champion Kolkata Knight Riders will face Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator of the Indian Premier League tomorrow at the Eden Gardens. It will be a must win game for both the sides as a loss in this game will mean that it’s the end for the side in this season. Ahead of the game we will talk about 4 deciding battle of the game which can be a treat to watch tomorrow.

Chris Lynn vs Heinrich Klaasen: At the beginning of the season a lot of people had doubts that whether Lynn is fully fit or not and if he can contribute at the top for KKR. But as the tournament progressed he showed everyone about what he is capable off. At the top in many games not only he scored quickly for the team but also anchored the team to victory as well, on the other hand Klaasen has only featured in 3 matches for RR in this season. The star Proteas power hitter didn’t get a lot of chance as foreigners like Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes were there in the squad but after their departure he played a match winning knock against RCB in a must win game and due to his innings RR are in the playoffs.

Sanju Samson vs Sunil Narine: Both have them are in destructive form in this season’s IPL. Sanju has scored a lot of runs for his side in this season and many times his knocks helped RR to win games as well. On the flip side of it Sunil Narine has contributed with both ball and bat for KKR in IPL 2018. His destructive batting in the opening slot with Lynn and as always the vulnerable spin bowling has been an asset for KKR.

Krishnappa Gowtham vs Prasidh Krishna: Both the uncapped players have been performing well for their respective teams this season. In a couple of games his late sixes down the order helped RR to win, he has taken 9 wickets for his side as well. Prasidh Krishna has a different story though, he got a call up from KKR team management after Indian U19 sensation Kamlesh Nagarkotti got injured. In the last game against table toppers SRH his 4-wicket was the game changer.

Andre Russell vs Jofra Archer: It will be a battle of two Caribbean muscle powers tomorrow at the Eden Gardens. Russell has already played a few fiery knock while batting and beside that he also took a few crucial wickets as well. On the other hand Archer didn’t score much but he took 13 wickets for RR and can take a crucial part in the Eliminator.
