Xtra Time Web Desk: West Indies legend Brian Lara heaped massive praise on Jasprit Bumrah and also issued a stern warning to The Tigers.

Bumrah has been in top form in this World Cup with 8 wickets in four games. Further, he proved why he is considered the 'Greatest Bowler Of All Time' after he picked crucial wickets against Pakistan and helped India defend a low total against the Men in Green.

In the latest events, Lara praised the right-arm seamer and hailed him as the best bowler in current times. He also jokingly offered citizenship to Bumrah and asked him to play for the Windies in the coming years.

"I'll put you down on it. I think Jasprit Bumrah is a world-class bowler. He is the best bowler in the world, but there are quite a few. I think I mentioned a couple of days ago that if he wants to stay in the Western East, we can organise a passport, he can organise a place for him to stay, and he can play for the West Indies for the rest of a few years, you know, but just humour I think he is world-class," Lara told Star Sports.

Lara also urged Bangladeshi batters to not attack Bumrah as that would not turn out nice for them.

"I think what other players or other batters or other captains and managers, and you just have to do is understand that they don't have to go against Jasprit Bumrah. If Bangladesh want to succeed against India, they can't go after him. It's as simple as that. If you do, you're going to bury yourself," he added.
