Image Source: XtraTime[/caption] Debasis Sen, Bengaluru: Erapalli Anantharao Srinivas or "E.A.S." Prasanna has made up his mind not to go to the Chinaswamy Stadium tomorrow to watch the second test match between India and Australia. The legendary spinner feels offended with the treatment handed out to him by the current management of the Karnataka State Cricket Association. KSCA President Sanjay Desai and Secretary Sudhakar Rao had earlier sent him an invitation to watch the match at Chinnaswamy. “It is very unlikely I am going to watch the match. I would rather watch the match on TV at home, watch the DRS and listen to the former cricketers comments and analyse myself how the game is going on,” said an aggrieved Prasanna to xtratime.in The former spinner added, “I have also got the invitation like everyone else that has played for the country and state. But I deserve a little more respect from them as I cannot walk 1 km to go into the stadium. See, they are doing a job. I know they respect me but unfortunately they are still in the transitional period, in a sense they are totally not responsible for the post of President or Secretary of the association.” The former great however did not hesitate to term Ashwin as the best spinner in world cricket at the moment. At the same time he urged the premier off-break bowler to give the ball more air. According to Prasanna, “I think he is an excellent bowler. I still believe he should show his authority in his bowling. And that authority can be only shown by setting his own field and bowling to that field.” Talking about the other spinner Ravindra Jadeja, the former off-spinner said, “He is a nagging spin bowler who can possibly create a lot of chances on a spin friendly wicket. But on a good wicket he cannot run through a side.” Is it too much of a pressure on Ashwin to win test matches at home, Prasanna said, “He has created the impression that he is the only strike bowler we have at the moment. So he has to keep it in mind and deliver for the team. But at the same time he cannot be successful all the time. The others need to step up and take wickets.” On being asked about his prediction for tomorrow’s second test match, the legendary spinner did not hesitate to say that, “It’s going to be a draw. I don’t think either side will be able to dictate terms on this dry Chinnaswamy wicket, unless until the spinners turn out to be dangerous. I always felt India should win 2-1 in this particular series. But after having seen the test match at Pune, India’s best chance to level the series would have been a turning track here.” He feels Virat and his team should be more aggressive. “Attack is the best part of defence. Australian side has showed their authority in Pune. And now it’s India’s turn to show the same intent. That was something which was missing in the Indian team at Pune,” said Prassana at his residence in Bengaluru. Lastly on being asked how he rated Virat as captain, he said, “Virat is possibly our best bet as a batsman and at the same time he is very positive in his approach as a captain. He reminds me showing the same attitude what Sourav showed when he became the captain.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owxktc5hDfY
