Indian captain Virat Kohli involves himself with COVID-19 relief work
Xtra Time Web Desk: India captain Virat Kohli has associated himself with the fight against COVID-19. Kohli will be lending his support to Maharshtra Yuva Sena in their relief work during this time of crisis. The RCB captain recently held a meeting with Yuva Sena member Rahul Kanal. Kanal is a member of the Education committee of Yuva Sena Mumbai.
Kanal took to Twitter and shared a couple of photos of his meeting with Kohli. He tweeted, “Meeting our Captain…Respect and love for the movement he has started working on for COVID relief… No words just Respect and Prayers for all his efforts !!! @imVkohli,”
Kohli, who returned home from the IPL bio bubble on Wednesday morning, wasted no time to start working on the project. The Indian captain over the years has wholeheartedly lend his support towards several social causes in the country.
Several Indian cricketers – past and present has come forward towards India’s fight against COVID-19.
