Xtra Time Web Desk : Team India was hit by COVID-19 on Wednesday as three players in the Indian camp in Shikhar Dhawan, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer tested positive for the deadly virus just days before the start of the ODI rubber against West Indies which is scheduled to be played from February 6 at Ahmedabad.

All the players in the Indian camp are in the mandatory 3 day quarantine at the moment.

And on the above matter, BCCI Treasurer Arun Dhumal on Wednesday told ANI, "It has been brought to the notice that some players and some support staffs have tested positive for COVID-19. BCCI is watching the situation."

Now, with COVID-19 hitting the Team India camp, it is to be seen what effect does it have on the upcoming home series against West Indies.
