Xtra Time Web Desk : Team India bowler Deepak Chahar was ruled out of the upcoming 3 match T20I Sri Lanka series on Tuesday, after the 29 year old suffered a grade 2 tear in his right knee while he was bowling in the 3rd T20I against West Indies at Kolkata.

Chahar, who was Chennai Super Kings' most costly cricketer of the Indian Premier League mega auction 2022, was in fine form with both the ball and also the bat in hand in the series against West Indies, before he was sidelined due to the injury.

According to reports, the Rajasthan pacer is expected to take 4-5 weeks time for his rehab in order to fully recover from his injury and is likely to be back in action for the IPL 2022.
