Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India fast bowler Umesh Yadav was on Monday drafted in the test squad for the remaining two test matches against England. The fast bowler from Vidarbha appeared for a fitness test on Sunday, 21st February at Motera. He cleared his fitness test and has been added to the squad for the last two Tests of the ongoing India-England Test series.

With Umesh getting into the test squad, Shardul Thakur has been released from the national team to take part in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. Umesh joined Jasprit Bumrah, Md. Siraj and Ishant Sharma in the test squad. It will be interesting to see who will be the two pacers (if the think tank prefers to keep three spinners in the playing XI) for the Pink Ball Test. Jasprit Bumrah will spearhead the fast bowling attack but the question is who will share the new ball. Will it be Ishant Sharma ( on the verge of playing his 100th test match or Umesh Yadav)

India squad for the last two Tests: Virat Kohli (Captain), Rohit Sharma, Mayank Agarwal, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane (vice-captain), KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Wriddhiman Saha (wicket-keeper), R Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Md. Siraj, Umesh Yadav
