Xtra Time Web Desk: Team India captain Virat Kohli will be addressing a team meeting initiated by Head Coach Ravi Shastri in Adelaide on Monday. It is more of a team bonding session where Kohli will speak to the entire team as well as have a one on one session with each individual. The basic purpose is to lift the sagging morale of each member of the team. It is learnt Ajinkya Rahane will also speak in the meeting. Rahane will be leading the Indian test team in the remaining three test matches as Virat will be flying back to India to be by the side of his wife Anushka Sharma, who is expecting their first child in January.

It will be no doubt a stiff ask now that Virat along with Mohammed Shami will not be available. Shami will also come back following his fracture in right arm. He got hit by a rising delivery from Pat Cummins in the second innings in Adelaide Oval. Understandably this team bonding session is being organized so as to lift the morale of the entire team ahead of the all important Boxing Day test coming up in Melbourne from December 26.

The Indian cricketers had a day off from cricket on Sunday following their disastrous performance in the first D/N test against Australia at Adelaide Oval. The cricketers and support staffs were told not to discuss cricket and leave behind the Adelaide debacle. The Indians will be hoping for a fresh start under Ajinkya Rahane starting with the Boxing Day test.
