India tour to West Indies 2022: Here are the fixtures, dates and broadcast details

Xtra Time Web Desk: Rohit Sharma and co will travel to the Caribbean immediately following the tour to England. The Men in Blue will take on the West Indies in a white ball series which will feature three ODIs and five T20Is.

India’s white-ball tour will commence on July 22 in Trinidad and Tobago with three ODIs from July 22 to 27 at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, followed by five T20Is in three separate venues. The first T20I on July 29 will be historic as the first ever Men’s T20I to be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in the south of Trinidad. The venue for the back-to-back second and third T20I matches is Warner Park, St Kitts. The eight-match India white ball tour concludes with an exciting weekend of back-to-back T20I fixtures at the Broward County Cricket Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida from August 6 and 7. 

All the ODIs will begin at 7 pm IST while the T20Is will start at 8pm IST.

In a first for Indian cricket fans, all the matches in the series will not be broadcasted LIVE by any private satellite channel. Rather, three ODIs and five match T20 series will be streamed live on OTT platform FanCode. Under mandatory sharing act, matches will also be broadcasted on DD Prasar Bharti

It is worth noting that since the start of Cable & Satellite Television era, it will be the 1st time that series will not be available for broadcast on private sports network. FanCode being the CWI partner has decided to exclusively stream the series on their platform.

Talking about this, Johnny Grave, CEO of Cricket West Indies said: “Our four-yeardeal with FanCode has brought Indian cricket fans closer to CWI’s live properties across multiple formats that has featured the top cricketing nations like South Africa, Pakistan, Australia and England.”
