Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indian men’s and women’s team reached London Heathrow on Thursday afternoon for the tour of England. The men’s team will be embarking on a three half months long tour during which they will take on New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship Final starting June 18. Kohli and his boys will also play a five match test series against England which will start from August 04. Mithali Raj and her team will be in UK for one month where they will play one off test against England at Bristol, besides taking part in three ODIs and T20Is.

Most of the players were accompanied by their families including India captain Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and test vice captain Ajinkya Rahane. The players were seen heading to the exit after completing their formalities at the Immigration department.

Both the men and women cricketers will head to Southampton from London Heathrow in a Team Coach. The teams will be hard quarantining at the Hilton hotel in Ageas Bowl during which they will be tested for COVID-19. Kohli and his boys will be allowed to start training after the first three days in hard quarantine provided they test negative. Mithali Raj and her team will travel to Bristol after finishing their hard quarantine for the one off test match against England starting from June 16.
