Xtra Time Web Desk: Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced revised timings for the upcoming white ball series against India. The matches will now start from 3:00 pm (ODIs) and 8:00 pm (T20Is) respectively instead of 1:30 pm and 7:30 pm scheduled earlier. Shikhar Dhawan and his boys will be involved in three ODIs and three T20Is starting from July 18.

Earlier the start of series was delayed by five days as there were cases of COVID-19 in Sri Lanka camp. Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) in discussion with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) agreed that the series will start from July 18. Two members of the Sri Lanka team including batting coach Grant Flower tested positive for COVID-19 after their return from England. The entire England squad had to be quarantined due to 7 COVID cases in the camp.

As per the revised schedule the 1st ODI will be played in Colombo’s R Premadasa Stadium Stadium on July 18 from 3 pm while the T20 matches will start from 8 pm. All the matches will be broadcast live on Sony Sports Network channels and live-streamed on SonyLIV app OTT platform.
