India Tour of England: Saha, Easwaran & Bharat Arun clears RT-PCR test, to remain in hard quarantine

Xtra Time Web Desk: Finally some good news coming from India camp in England. All the three members of the Indian team Wriddhiman Saha, Abhimanyu Easwaran and Bharat Arun, who came in close contacts with support staff Dayanand Garani has cleared the RT-PCR test. They will remain in hard quarantine in London hotel. Rishabh Pant too is doing well and is expected to join the squad in Durham before the second practice game.

Pant is all set to miss the three day practice match against County Select XI which will be led by Will Rhodes. The match will be played from July 20-22. With both Pant and Saha unavailable, KL Rahul will have to keep the wickets. The match will be played “strictly behind closed doors” and will be streamed on the You Tube channel of Durham County.

It is expected Pant will be available for the intra squad match from July 28.

Meanwhile each and every member of the Indian team for next 7 days will have to undergo lateral flow tests as per the BCCI release on Thursday.

The five match test series against England starts from August 4 at Nottingham.
