Xtra Time Web Desk: Rohit Sharma & his boys underwent their first full training session in England at the Leicestershire County Cricket Club on Monday. The Indian test squad members travelled to Leicester from London on Sunday evening. The visiting Indian test squad will be based at Leicester where they will play a four day warm up game against Select County XI starting from June 24.
The focus during the practice session was on the openers. Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill were the first to walk in at the nets. It is also an indication who will partner Rohit for the fifth test at Edgbaston starting from July 1-5.
Following Rohit, Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli batted at the nets. It was the first full net session for the Indians in Leicester which was attended by the entire squad members except Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer who joined the squad on Monday. Team Indian Head Coach Rahul Dravid will be at the practice sessions from Tuesday.
