Xtra Time Web Desk: Indian men and women cricketers picked for the tour to England assembled in Mumbai on Wednesday. They will be starting 2 weeks quarantine ahead of their departure to UK. The men’s team will play the final of ICC World Test Championship against New Zealand starting June 18. It will be followed by a five test series against England. The women’s team will be involved in a full series which includes one off test match at Bristol followed by three ODIs and T20Is respectively.

BCCI has arranged chartered flights from three cities, Hyderabad, Chennai and Delhi to bring the players to Mumbai

Players like Washington Sundar, Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul, R Ashwin, Mithali Raj and Mohammed Siraj travelled from Chennai. The flight from Delhi had players like Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Umesh Yadav, Avesh Khan and Abhimanyu Easwaran, who travelled to the capital from Dehradun. Ishant Sharma too was on the flight from Delhi. Cricketers based in Gujarat and surrounding cities travelled on road to Mumbai. It included players like Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel and Arzan Nagraswala

Players who are based out of Mumbai will be able to spend an extra five days at home before joining the bio-bubble.

The likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Jasprit Bumrah, and Shardul Thakur will join the bubble on May 24

Both the men and women squads will travel to London in the same chartered flight on June 02
