Xtra Time Web Desk: Virat Kohli and his team are likely to don new designed jerseys for the upcoming ODI and T20I series against Australia. The retro themed jerseys will take the fans down the memory lane as it almost looks like the ones worn by the Indian team during the 1992 ICC Cricket World Cup.

The new kit will have a Navy Blue shade, a shift from the conventional sky blue colour that the team has been wearing in recent years. The Navy Blue portion will also sport the name of the BCCI’s new kit sponsors – MPL Sports. Last month, the BCCI had signed a three-year deal worth Rs 120 crores plus revenue share with MPL Sports. MPL has replaced Nike as Team India’s new kit sponsors.

The Indian team reached Sydney on Thursday for the 54 days tour which will feature 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is and 4 Tests.

The first two ODIs will be played at the Sydney Cricket Ground on November 27 and 29 respectively, while the third ODI and first T20I will take place at the Manuka Oval. Thereafter, the teams return to Sydney for the remaining two T20Is.
