Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indians cricketers are likely to have their first training session on the day of Diwali since reaching Sydney on Thursday. The cricketers will train at the Blacktown International Sports Park which is not very far from Pullman, the hotel they are staying in at Homebush. The Blacktown International Sports Park is literally turned into a bio-secure venue with no intruders allowed in the close vicinity. Cricket Australia has arranged the training facilities for the Indians during the quarantine. Virat and his boys can only train at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) post their 14 days mandatory quarantine.

The players had a relaxed day since arriving to Sydney from Dubai. It is learnt the Indian team management will organize a small get-together among the players in the hotel itself to celebrate Diwali. Kohli and his boys will have the first feel of Sydney Cricket Ground a day before the first ODI at SCG. The Australian cricketers playing in the IPL 2020 will also have to follow a similar protocol.

India will begin the tour with three ODI’s, followed by three T20I’s and four-Test series. Their hotel is about 15kms (30-minute by car) from Inter-Continental Hotel, where they stayed during the last tour in 2018-19.
