India to miss key middle-order batsman in the final Test match
Debasis Sen, Melbourne: India to play without Rohit Sharma in the final test match in the 4-match test series.
Rohit Sharma will miss the final Test against Australia at Sydney after the India batsman left for Mumbai on the 30 December (Monday) to be with his wife Ritika Sajdeh and newborn baby girl.
BCCI congratulates Rohit on the beginning of a new chapter in his life and added that there will be no replacement player in the Test squad.
Rohit will join the ODI squad on the 8th of January 2019, when the team begins their preparation for the ODI series starting 12th January.
