India makes a strong comeback, levels the series with a thumping victory

Internet Desk: Rohit Shrama led Indian cricket team thumped Sri Lanka by 141 runs in the second ODI today at Mohali’s PCA Stadium, to level the three-match ODI series 1-1. Banking on a brilliant double-century by skipper Rohit Sharma the Men in Blue thumped the Lankans and will face them again on December 17 in the decider at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam.

Skipper Rohit Sharma blasted an unbeaten 208 to anchor the Indian innings, while Shreyas Iyer (88 off 70 balls) and Shikhar Dhawan (68) were the other contributors.

Angelo Mathews top-scored for Sri Lanka, while leg- spinner Yuzvendra (3/60). was the pick of the bowlers for the hosts.
