Xtra Time[/caption] Internet Desk: Former East Bengal and Mohun Bagan footballer Ajay Singh opened a football academy named “Chinamay Ajay SIngh Football Academy” on his own name today at Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand. India football captain Sunil Chhetri was present as the chief guest during the inauguration of the academy and opned it with kicking a football. Apart from Sunil Chhetri, Jharkhand SAI Director Sushil Verma and Jharkhand Football Association official Gulam Rabbani was also present in the inauguration of the academy. A group of 20-30 footballers will be registered through a talent hunt programme and they will be divided into two groups of U-12 and U-14 quota of footballers as it is named generally an youth development project. Although the opening ceremony was held today but the academy will officially start working from August 1, 2016. Former footballers like Abhay Kumar, Sanjay Parthe and Satish Minch will be training the footballers and all these coaches have played for either of the two big clubs in Kolkata.
