Xtra Time Web Desk: Indian wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul gave an update on his health recently after undergoing surgery for appendicitis. He is bound for the World Test Championship final in June this year subject to medical clearance, and he seems to be making positive progress with regard to his health.

Rahul, who captains Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL), had complained of pain in his stomach before a league fixture against Delhi Capitals (DC). When his pain didn’t subside, he was admitted to a hospital and then subsequently operated on. Recently, he posted an image on Instagram with the caption- “Healing”, where he was pictured enjoying himself with his dogs. This seems to hint at good news for Indian Cricket fans, who will be eager to see Rahul make his return at some point after having recovered from this surgery.
