ICC CWC 2019: This is how the jersey will look like for the reigning World Champions

XtraTime Web Desk: Cricket Australia has unveiled the jersey of the senior men’s team for the forthcoming ICC Cricket World Cup, to be staged in England from May 30-July 14. World famous apparel manufacturer Asics has designed the new look jersey that Aaron Finch and his men will wear at the mega event. Ten top cricketing nations will be vying for top honour.

The uniform is predominantly yellow, with a lime green collar, shoulders and sides on the shirt, while a thin green stripe runs down the sides of the pants.

The kit colour scheme is not dissimilar to the retro uniforms worn by Australia in this year’s Gillette ODI Series against India on home soil.

Next summer, Australia will once again wear retro uniforms after a fan-voted competition led to the 1999 World Cup kit being selected ahead of seven other uniforms.

The reigning World Champions will start their title defence against Afghanistan at Bristol on June 01.

Aaron Finch and his men will be vying for a sixth title. The Aussies will enter the World Cup as favorites following away series victories over sub-continent giants India and Pakistan.
