XtraTime Web Desk: Delhi Capitals dashing opener Shikhar Dhawan is not too worried about his sudden drop in form in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2019) matches. The left hander is yet to make an impact in the cash rich league, managing only 152 runs from 6 matches so far. But that does not stop him from being confident of doing well for India in the forthcoming ICC World Cup 2019 which gets underway from May 30. The Delhi batsman has always performed well across various ICC events. Dhawan has been the highest run getter for India in all ICC tournaments since 2013. He had amassed 363 runs at 90.75 from five matches in 2013 Champions Trophy, 412 runs at 51.50 in 2015 World Cup and 338 runs at 67.60 from 5 outings in 2017 Champions Trophy “I have done well in ICC events and this year will be no different,” said Dhawan in an interview with India Today. The opener also believes that the current Indian team has the perfect blend of youth and experience, which will hold them in good stead for doing well in the tournament. The national selection committee led by MSK Prasad will announce the fifteen member World Cup squad in Mumbai on April 15.
