ICC CWC 2019: Kohli or Sarfraz, whom does Pakistan captain’s uncle want to win on Sunday?

Jagrick Dey: Two arch rival countries, the two countries, where a land named ‘Kashmir’ draws blood and creates tension on every second. Political equations inflicted the relationship between the two nations from bad to worse. But nothing could affect the bonding of these two families. The family from Karachi has more fame as Pakistan Captain Sarfraz Ahmed belong from them. On the flip side, Mahboob Hasan from Uttar Pradesh is the maternal uncle of Sarfraz. Before the two arch rivals face each other at Manchester on Sunday, Mehboob Hasan spoke to xtratime.in journalist Jagrick Dey on phone. Here goes the conversation:

XT: Did you speak to him before this mega game of India vs Pakistan?

Mehboob: No, we haven’t spoken. We spoke before he left to play the World Cup. I wished him luck. I obviously want India to win on Sunday, but also want Sarfaraz to play well and score a hundred on Sunday. We all would be in front of the TV.

XT: What would be your advice to the Pakistan captain?

Mehboob: Just wanna tell him, ‘play well’. But as an Indian I always want Kohli to win. But it never affected our relationship. We also went to attend his wedding at Karachi and met all the players there. It was a wonderful time.

XT: Did you ever experienced taunting words as you are the close relatives of Sarfaraz?

Mehboob: Nope, everyone knows it. But never faced such situations.
