XtraTime Web Desk: Indian team management have finally found their No.4 batsman for the World Cup in KL Rahul as he scored a brilliant ton (108) against Bangladesh in the second warm up game at the Sophia Garden in Cardiff on Monday. Rahul played brilliantly with MS Dhoni as they added a 100+ partnership to set up a big total. Especially, Rahul was spectacular to watch with his drives and lofts over the boundary ropes. Dhoni also matched with Rahul and took on spinners to bring a broad smile on Virat Kohli’s face. Rahul, who came to England on the back of an impressive IPL, made things count after missing on the first warm-up game. He finished as the second-highest run scorer in the tournament with 593 runs after David Warner. The Karnataka opener looked in sublime touch which will help Kohli & Co breathe a sigh of relief. Rahul reached his century with a single off Sabbir Rahman but got out soon while playing a big shot. He got out on 108 runs. Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman all hailed the batting of Rahul. They all want Rahul at No.4 against South Africa on June 5 when India will begin their World Cup campaign. While doing the commentary Sourav said,"If Rahul bats at No.4 the balance of the team will be good. I think he is the right person to bat at No.4 for India." VVS Laxman too lauded the brilliant batting of the young batsman." A batsman like Rahul can attack any side at any time but beside that he also knows when he should play defensively. He proved that in this match again. And if a batsman like him bats till the 50th over it will help the team to score big," concluded Laxman.
