Image Source: File Pic[/caption] Kolkata: I.F.A governing body member Sukhen Majumdar was arrested on Friday, the day after West Assembly elections results were declared. Sukhen Majumdar, represents fourth division club Rainbow FC in the I.F.A.

The incident occurred in New Barrackpore, where Sukhen Majumdar with 12 activists broke into a party office and later when a F.I.R was filed against him, he rushed into the New Barrackpore police station with his partners and created chaos in the station beating up the Officer-in-charge too.
Sukhen and his activists partners were produced in a local court on Friday and sent to judicial custody for three days.
I.F.A secretary, Utpal Ganguly did not want to comment on this issue. He said, “I am not aware of such issues. Without knowing the matter, I am not the concerned authority to comment on this time.”
I.F.A President Subrata Dutta was unaware of any such governing body member in the association. He said, “I don’t feel like commenting on anybody whom I don’t know personally and neither I know about this person as a governing body member presently."
