Bravo, who plays for Shah Rukh Khan owned Trinbago Knight Riders in the Carribean Premier League, is confident of leaving his mark in the cash-rich league. The Trinidadian batsman has recovered fully from an injury he suffered early on while training with the team. Speaking at a sponsor’s event, Bravo said, “By all means, the IPL is the No. 1 T20 competition in the world. I think I am very privileged to be part of the KKR team. KKR is the owner of CPL team (Trinbago Knight Riders), so for me, it's like a family and coming back home." Knight Riders vice-captain Surya Kumar Yadav stressed that the team is motivated of adding a third star to the jersey by bringing the trophy home. No other franchises have won the trophy thrice in the history of IPL. "We have two stars on our shirt and hopefully will add a third, giving you all reason to celebrate," the 26-year old Mumbai batsman added. The Knight Riders were eliminated from the tournament last year after losing to eventual champions Sunrisers Hyderabad. "There is no point in thinking about last year. We have moved on and are thinking about this season," Yadav, who played a match-winning knock of 60 against Rising Pune Supergiant last time, told reporters on the sidelines of a promotional event in the city. Also, present on the occasion were big-hitting Yusuf Pathan, left-arm Australian spinner Chris Lynn and top-order batsman Manish Pandey. Manish Pandey will have a bigger responsibility to play for the two-time champions who are aspiring for a third title. Pandey amassed just 248 runs in the 12 games last season which was much below the expectation from the team. "For KKR I bat at No. 3; so I have to shoulder a lot of responsibilities. I have to play along with the middle order, so definitely we will not repeat mistakes of last year and try to play better cricket this time," said Pandey. Pandey, who last played for India in the second T20 international against England on January 29, added that the IPL will be a good platform for him to impress ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy in June. "IPL will be a good platform for me to get back into the reckoning for India ahead of the Champions Trophy. At the moment I am focusing on IPL and doing well for the team.” Earlier in the day, few Knight Riders cricketers, along with assistant coach Simon Katich, inaugurated the KKR gallery at the Fanattics Museum in Rajarhat. The Knight Riders will begin their campaign against the Gujarat Lions on April 7, at Rajkot.
