Hyderabad FC wins big, beat Kerala Blasters 4-0

XtraTime Web Desk – In a must win game, Hyderabad ran past Kerala Blasters and scored four past them to move an inch closer to the semifinal stage.

The first half was more or less was even. Kerala however got couple of chances to score but they failed to even make a solid attempt to score. In the 39th minute, because of a miss pass, Prasanth recieved the ball just outside the box with the goalkeeper of his line. He tried to chip the keeper from distance but it hardly troubled the keeper and a good chance we wasted.

It was a different Hyderabad side in the second half. From the initial minutes, their intent looked clear and in the 47th minute only they could have scored. Chianese was one-to-one with the keeper but failed to keep it on target and Kerala Blasters was out of danger.

However, Hyderabad didn’t take much time to score their first after that. In the 58th minute, Fran Sandaza scored for Hyderabad and from then they didn’t look back. Sandaza scored again and completed his brace in the 63rd minute after Albino Gomes committed a foul inside the box. Sandaza converter from the spot-kick and Hyderabad was 2-0 up.

They took some time but scored their third in the 86th minute. Aridana Santana, their main man scored for them and in the 91st minute, Joao Victor sealed the deal for the side. A massive 4-0 win in a crucial stage will definetly boost their confidence for the road to the semifinals.

Hyderabad now have 27 points from 18 games and are 3rd in the table while Kerala remained in the 8th position with 16 points from 18 games.
