Xtra Time Web Desk: The reaction of Jasprit Bumrah said it all after he had Kolkata Knight Rider’s Sunil Narine caught and bowled. It was the first five-fer for the Mumbai Indians pacer in this edition of IPL. Bumrah celebrated it by punching the air and yelling it out his frustration of having not done well in the last 10 matches.
Ahead of the game against the Knight Riders, Bumrah had taken only 5 wickets from 10 matches. But on Monday night, he was all charged up as his spell read 4-1-9-5. He took the wickets of Nitish Rana, Andre Russell in the same over i.e., 13th over and followed it up with three wickets – Sheldon Jackson, Pat Cummins and Sunil Narine in the 17th over.
Bumrah’s wife Sanjana Ganesan, who was there in the stands, celebrated it as much as Bumrah himself. She quickly reacted on social media: “Holy moly! My husband is fire.”
