Xtra Time Web Desk: BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has made a big statement on Virat Kohli’s T20 future. Former India captain Virat Kohli has been struggling with form in the ongoing IPL 2022 season. The board President has backed Kohli to come back to form soon.

According to Ganguly, Kohli will get in top shape soon and will be important cog in wheel for India’s T20 World Cup aspirations.

In an interview to Mid-Day, Ganguly said, “I’m not worried at all about the form of Virat Kohli or Rohit. Kohli is too good…real big players. The World Cup is far away and I am quite confident that he will be in top shape much before the tournament.”

Kohli has been awfully out of form, scoring just 236 runs from 13 games at an average of 19.67 so far in IPL 2022. Apart from scoring a solitary half century in IPL 2022, Kohli has registered three golden ducks.

According to Ganguly, it is just matter of time that Kohli gets back his form. Following IPL, India will have play four T20I series starting with the series against South Africa, Ireland, England and Australia.
