Hardik Pandya led Indian T20 squad leaves for Ireland? | India tour to Ireland 2022

Xtra Time Web Desk: Hardik Pandya led Indian T20 squad on Thursday left for Dublin to play the upcoming two match T20I series. The first match will be played on Sunday, June 26, 2022. National Cricket Academy (NCA) Director VVS Laxman accompanied the team as coach to Ireland. There is a huge expectation from the local Indian fans. Several fans will travel to Dublin from UK.

The series will also mark the return of Suryakumar Yadav. The swashbuckling batter was ruled out from the recently concluded T20I series against South Africa due to an injury. The series also see the return of Sanju Samson who will get another chance to prove himself along with newcomer Rahul Tripathi.

All eyes will be on India’s new pace sensation Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh. Both of them were part of the Indian squad for the recently concluded T20I series against South Africa. It is expected that they will get an opportunity to play for the country on this tour.

India and Ireland will face off each other in two T20Is. Both matches will be played at Malahide Cricket Ground on June 26 and June 28. Both matches will start at 9 pm IST
