Debasis Sen, Hyderabad: Following the two match T20I series, the focus now shifts to the five match ODI series that gets underway here at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Saturday. Both the Indian and Australian teams arrived in Hyderabad on Thursday afternoon. The teams travelled from Bengaluru in a chartered flight. Meanwhile Cricket Australia is taking stock of the ongoing developments post the Pulwama terror attacks. The team’s security officer and persons responsible to look after the security of the Australian cricketers were seen involved in along chat at the team hotel on Thursday. It can be assumed that the meeting was to discuss about the security of the Australian cricketers which is paramount. It is learnt that the Australian board is following the situations and are in constant touch with the team management. Among the five venues, there are concerns only for the fourth ODI in Mohali on March 11. So far the situation has not gone worse so as to shift the match but if it does escalate, there is every possibility about the match being shifted to a much safer venue. Bengaluru, which hosted the second T20I and Chennai which is all set to host the inaugural match of IPL this season are the front runners to host the match. But as of now everything is being speculated.
