Xtra Time Web Desk : Germany defender Antonio Rudiger on Tuesday signed a four year deal with 13 time UEFA Champions League champions Real Madrid, making it one of the most talked about transfers of the summer.
The current Chelsea defender, who had been a prime target for Carlo Ancelotti’s team apart from Manchester United, PSG, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Juventus chose Real Madrid out of the many offers he had.
The 29 year old defender, who had been an integral part of the Blues’ over the last five years, had reportedly grown frustrated with the club’s current situation and the delay in the take over, which instigated Rudiger to confirm his decision to move.
The defender who played 50 matches for the German National team has already completed his medical and signed for an amount worth €6.8 million, plus bonuses.
