The Spanish footballer may be seen in action in the Indian Super League next season. Although it is not confirmed for which franchise he will be seen in action.
The Perth Glory maestro has been linked with a US$1.4 million offer on table. The possibility of the former Malaga and Getafe midfielder playing in India is huge, as the offer will allow him to return to Perth for the second half of next year’s A-League season.
The Spanish footballer was a star for Glory this season with 13 goals and is a favourite to take out the Johnny Warren medal for the A-League’s best player.
Castro is currently in Singapore weighing up his options on a family holiday.The club expects to receive an answer from Castro about his future when he returns later this week.
If Castro does sign the contract then he will definitely be the biggest attraction for the forthcoming Indian Super League.
