The Australian who nourished Indian footballers like Alwyn George, Milan Singh, Holicharan Narzary and Deepak Devrani, is getting ready to make a sensational comeback to Indian football, sources told www.xtratime.in.

Former Indian Arrows and Dempo manager Arthur Papas is now the favourite to be the new Head Coach of NorthEast United FC for the forthcoming season of the Hero Indian Super League. If Papas becomes the Head Coach, then he would be working with former East Bengal and United Sports Club Head Coach Eelco Schattorie in the upcoming season. Papas might qualify for Head Coach after being assistant coach of FC Goa in their first season of ISL a criteria through which Bengaluru FC manager Carles Cuadrat qualified to manage the team.

Eelco Schattorie proposal to become their Head Coach was reportedly rejected by ISL earlier as they continue there own standards for appointing Head Coaches. Both Papas and Eelco love to work with the youngsters and in NorthEast, they will have the abundance of it.
