Find out who could be latest Indian to join Ashwin, Pujara in County Cricket

Kuldeep
Internet Desk: Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav could become the latest Indian cricketer to join Ravichandran Ashwin and Cheteshwar Pujara to play County Cricket. The chinaman bowler has got a lucrative offer from Sussex but a lot will depend whether he gets enough time from a tight international schedule.

Kuldeep was recently approached by the County officials but he is yet to give them a final word as he is not sure about the upcoming schedule of Indian cricket team and the domestic season.

“Definitely, I would play county cricket. Actually, I got an offer from Sussex recently but I could not get time from my schedule so I could not go there. But, definitely I will go and play county cricket in the future,” Kuldeep was quoted by a website.

Kuldeep will not be the first spinner to get an offer from a English county. India’s premier spinner R Ashwin is currently playing for Worcestershire and has played two First-Class game for them this season. Middle-order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara also has been plying his trade with Nottinghamshire since the last season.

But with a packed international season at home followed by Ranji Trophy beginning from October 06, it goes to be seen whether the board gives Kuldeep the go ahead to ply his trade in County circuit. India are set to play Australia in a five-match ODI series beginning Sunday in Chennai followed by a three-match T20I series.
