Internet Desk: Bangladesh made a comeback in their ongoing test series against Australia after the opening order suffered a major collapse. Australian spinner Nathan Lyon achieved a rare feat when he became the only bowler in the history of cricket to dismiss the top 4 batsman via lbw.
Bangladesh lost early wickets and were 21-2 when they lost Tamin Iqbal and Imrul Kayes for 9 and 4 runs respectively. However the middle order took control and somehow managed to make the game even. Mominul Haque and Shakib scored a well batted 31 and 24.

However the star batsmen were skipper Mushfiqur Rahim who remains 62* and Sabbir Rahman scored 66. Accompanying Mushfiqur Rahim on the crease with the skipper is Nasir Hossain on 19*.
As far as the bowling is concerned, once again the greatness of the star spinner was witnessed when he achieved a 5 wicket haul by giving away just 77 runs. The other wicket was bagged by Aston Agar.
At the end of Day 1, Bangladesh remains 253-6 after the end of 90 overs. This remarkable comeback in the mid-innings might prove handy for Bangladesh who could easily pair up to build more bigger partnerships and add more runs on the board.
