Xtra Time Web Desk: A hat-trick from Neymar helped Brazil win 4-2 against Peru in the FIFA World Cup 2022, Latin American Qualifiers at Estadio Nacional de Lima on Tuesday. The Paris Saint Germain superstar is now second in the all time list of goal scorers for Brazil after legendary Pele (77 goals from 92 appearances). Neymar (64 goals from 103 appearance) went past Ronaldo who has scored 62 goals for the country.

In another match Lionel Messi’s Argentina defeated Bolivia 2-1, the first win in the altitude of La Paz since 2005. Both Brazil and Argentina have now had two wins out of two but the former finds them on top due to a better goal difference.   Also on Tuesday, Colombia was held to 2-2 draw at Chile, Uruguay lost 4-2 at Ecuador and Paraguay beat Venezuela 1-0 away with a goal by Gastón Gimenez in the 85th minute. The next qualifiers in South America will be in November. South America will have four direct berths in the 2022 World Cup.
