Internet Desk: Rhian Brewster is a young striker of the England became the highest goal getter of the FIFA U17 World Cup 2017 and was the winner the Golden Boot award after scoring 8 goals from 6 matches.

Born on April 1, 2000, in London, Brewster from an early age of seven was scouted by big clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham and Charlton. A young Brewster joined London side Chelsea where under the guidance of Michael Beale he developed his game at the Chelsea Academy. Then under the advice of Beale he went on to join Liverpool at the age of 14 years.

After joining the red in 2014, he flourished in the academy and quickly made it to the U23 team from the U18s. He scored on his debut for the U23 team against Ipswich Town and was also included in a special one-on-one training session with former Liverpool winger Steve McManaman.

The progress of this young striker caught the eye of Reds gaffer Jurgen Klopp who called him for the pre-season friendlies in 2016 and went on to score a brilliant hat-trick against Accrington Stanley. In April against a Premier League encounter against Crystal Palace, the young goal getter was put on the bench but unfortunately was not featured in the game.

The phenomenal striker has scored 4 goals from 4 appearances for the England U16 side, 20 goals in 22 caps for the U17 side and has been featured in a lone game for the U18 National team.

Brewster received a lot of appreciation from supporters all over the globe after he scored successive hat-tricks against USA and Brazil in the quarters and semi-finals of the recently concluded FIFA U17 World Cup. Again the young lad scored his nation’s opening goal as England came from behind 0-2 to win 5-2 against the Spaniards.

The FIFA U17 World Cup 2015 saw Victor Osimhen being the winner of the golden boot after he scored 10 goals which also became the highest number of goals scored by a player in the tournament. Osimhen the Nigerian forward currently plays for Vfl Wolfsburg where the 18 year old striker has been featured for 4 games.

Valmir Berisha was the highest scorer of the 2013 edition after he scored 7 goals. he currently plays for Aalesunds FK where he has been featured in 20 games till now.

Carlos Vela was the highest scorer of the tournament in 2005 with 5 goals. Vela played for Arsenal then and after that he played for Real Sociedad where he scored 53 goals in 171 games.

However the most prominent and famous name of the lot is Cesc Fabregas. Fabregas was the joint winner of the Golden Boot and the Golden Ball in 2003 after he scored 5 goals. The exceptional midfielder played for Arsenal from 2003 to 2011 when he moved to Spanish giants Barcelona. Fabregas scored 35 goals for the London Reds while he scored 28 for the Cules. He again moved back to the EPL but this time to Chelsea and for the London blues where he currently plays have scored 14 goals in 106 games till now. As for the National side i.e Spain, the midfield maestro scored 15 goals in 110 caps.
