Xtra Time Web Desk : FC Barcelona have been going through a torrid period for the last few months after their former Talisman Lionel Messi left the club back in August. And since then nothing has been going good at the Catalan giants despite the appointment of club legend Xavi as their manager as they crashed out of the UEFA Champions League last week to enter the Europa league after 17 years.

However, now with Sergio Aguero’s forced retirement on Wednesday, the club’s attack is completely in a mess. With injury problems to Ansu Fati, Martin Brathwaite and Ousmane Dembele, Barcelona hasn’t been able to score goals regularly with a much weakened attack.

And according to reports, the Spanish club are trying to reinforce their attack by re signing Inter Milan star Alexis Sanchez in January, who previously played for the Culers from 2011-13, in a swap deal that would include Luuk De Jong. The reports also suggest that the deal is in advanced stages although Ferran Torres, Timo Werner and Edinson Cavani are in the radar of Barca.

Now, with the the Catalan Giants standing amidst conundrums, it would be intriguing to see if the club gets to sign Alexis Sanchez to bolster their attack.
