Xtratime Web Desk: In a bizzare incident that took place in Australia,ex-Australian leg spinner Stuar MAcgill was first kidnapped and then released on an hour later.As soon as the incident came to light Australian police moved to action quickly to takle charge of the matter that happened. On Wednesday Australian police arrested four men in connection with the armed kidnapping of former leg spinner Stuart MacGill.

The accused men were detained in a pre-dawn raid that took place in Sydney. Incidentally the cricketer was kidnapped from the city's affluent Lower North Shore last month. MacGill once played alongside Australian great Shane Warne.Many believed that the bowler was very much talented and could have become an Australian great if there was no Warne at that time. He played 44 Tests for Australia, but was unlucky that his career coincided with that of Shane Warne.

According to Australian Police on April 14 the 50-year-old spinner MacGill was confronted by three men at an intersection and forced him into a vehicle. Then he was driven to a property an hour out of the city where he was allegedly assaulted and threatened with a firearm before being released after an hour-long torcher.NSW Police superintendent Anthony Holton told media "I know it was only an hour that he was held but it would have been a horribly frightful hour to endure," .
