Xtra Time Web Desk: Goals from Aaron Ramsey (42’) and Connor Roberts (90+5’) gave Wales a 2-0 win over Turkey in EURO 2020 Group A clash at Baku National Stadium on Wednesday. The win put Robert Page’s side on the verge of a last 16 spot in Euro 2020.

Ramsey scored the opener for Wales in the 42nd minute as he chested down a diagonal ball from Gareth Bale and slotted it past the goalkeeper.

Few minutes later, the visitors had a great opportunity to extend the lead as they received a penalty for a foul committed on Bale by Zeki Celik. But the Walesman skied the ball over the bar.

Connor Roberts scored the winning goal in the dying minutes of the match.

The win takes Wales to 4 points from 2 matches. Bale & co are likely to reach the next round regardless of what happens against Italy in their final group game on Sunday.
