Xtra Time Web Desk: A buoyant India team led by Captain Virat Kohli started training at the Headingley cricket ground ahead of the third test match against England which begins from August 25. The Indian players reached Leeds on Friday from London. The entire team was at the training session on Sunday.

The BCCI posted a picture of the Emerald Headingley ground on its official twitter handle with a caption that read, “Hello and welcome to the Headingley Stadium, Leeds. Our venue for the 3rd Test against England.”

The England team also reached Leeds on Saturday and will start training from Monday. Headingley is also the home ground of England captain Joe Root who plays for Yorkshire.

Fresh from a historic victory at Lord’s, Kohli and his boys will be a confident going into the match especially with a good record at the venue on their last two tours in 1986 and 2002. The last time India played at Headingley in 2002, India thumped England by an innings and 46 runs.
