Image Source: kolkatatoday.com[/caption] Internet Desk: East Bengal's horrible season has been dealt another blow as Kalyan Majumdar, the secretary of the club has now been summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The official will be questioned about the club's alleged effort to hide evidence which had come under the scanner of the government agency. On 20th August, 2014 East Bengal official Debabrata Sarkar was arrested by CBI as part of chit-fund scam investigation. Sarkar, one of the most influential individuals of the Kolkata Maidan had been taken into custody regarding his involvement in the Saradha chit fund scam. According to sources from CBI, after the arrest Debabrata Sarkar, some important mails and e-mail account were deleted by the club. CBI asked Kalyan Majumdar that why such a step was taken by the club. CBI has asked Kalyan Majumdar to submit all the documents by Monday to their office. East Bengal secretary was unavailable to make any comment regarding this issue.
