Kolkata: Ahead of the derby on 7th September East Bengal is eyeing to win all the two matches in CFL. East Bengal coach Trevor James Morgan is very cautious to continue the top position of the league table till the end of the CFL.

“We have five more matches to go and 15 points to play for. We are really two points ahead (of Mohun Bagan). A draw tomorrow will lead us to the same position (with Mohun Bagan). If we lose we may won’t have any chance”, said Morgan day before the match against Southern Samity.

However, Morgan is still not satisfied with the performance of the team as he described that there is lots of ‘weak’ points in East Bengal.

“There are plenty of weak points to pick up. We can improve from the goal keeping to left winger. We know there is a lot hard work adverse. There will be ups and there will be down”, pointed Morgan.

Apart from all these loop holes in the team the coach is satisfied with the result. According to him however the performance should be the result matters the most.

Today Morgan said, “Sometimes the result is more important than the performance. We could have played exceptionally well in our last five games. I don’t think we are doing hundred percent but we are winning games. If you are not playing well but winning games, is a good sign.”

As the team is getting ready for the Southern Samity match coach Morgan is also preparing for the derby as he said, “I have got a lot of experienced players. A lot have played I-League before. I think it’s the same game against Mohun Bagan. We all are much concise. We respect the opponent”.

In today’s training both the forward Do Dong Hyun and Adelaja were not present during the set piece movement. May be this is the tactics of the coach to conceal the attacker to play tomorrow’s match.

There will be one change for tomorrow’s match as Robert will play in the position of Narayan Das. Also Do Dong will lead the attack along with Jiten Murmu.

Probable team: Luis Barreto, Rahul Bheke, Arnab Mondal, Calum Angus, Robert Lalthlamuana, Mohammed Rafique, Lalrindika Ralte, Mehtab Hossain, Bikash Jairu, Jiten Murmu, Do Dong Hyun
